Thomas Latter was an architect who generously funded university scholarships for PGS students in the 19th Century.

Harry Eastwood was a respected, long-serving teacher of Mathematics and Classics, serving under four Heads between 1890 and 1931.

Alfred Jerrard was the first Headmaster of the revived Victorian School (now the Upper Junior) from 1879 to 1893, introducing Sport and Science to the curriculum for the first time and establishing PGS as a popular school fit for the 20th century.

Please consider making a gift to help increase bursary support for the brightest pupils.

Thanks to a generous donor, today every gift is being matched pound for pound so your gift is worth even more: if you donate £100 we receive £200.   But this only works for 36-hours, so whether you left PGS this year or 50 years ago, or you’re connected to us in another way, your gift will have its biggest impact today.
